Singapore- Non-Surgical Correction For Childhood Ear Deformities

Congenital ear deformities occur in one in three children, of which deformations such as misshapen ears are most common. Ear molding is a highly effective method for the non-invasive correction of ear deformations in newborns, with a success rate of more than 90 percent if commenced within the first few days after birth.

Singapore- Efficacy of Ear Molding in Infants using the EarWell Infant Correction System and Factors Affecting Outcome

One-third of infants have ear anomalies, and less than one-third self-correct. Correction of ear deformities by molding exploits the plasticity of the auricular cartilage because of circulating maternal estrogen during infancy. In this study, the authors assess the efficacy of the EarWell Infant Correction System in the correction of ear deformities and determine the factors that affect its outcome.

China – Newborn ear deformities and their treatment efficiency with Earwell infant T ear correction system in China

Newborn ear deformity can be performed through EarWell infant ear correction system as a non- surgical treatment to avoid plastic surgery. In the newborn period, the auricle is soft and the cartilage is plastic, the deformed auricle shape can be treated by mechanical action.
